Xiaomi Redmi 4 is finally launched in India, this may be yet another great option for those looking to buy a smartphone under Rs. 10,000. As per Xiaomi tradition, the new smartphone Redmi 4 offers a big battery, new processor (for the price tag), and enough variants to fit different price brackets. But Xiaomi Redmi 4 is not the only budget smartphone worth considering at this price point. Ahead of its availability on May 23, we pit the smartphone against its competition – Moto G5, Lenovo K6 Power, Samsung Galaxy J7, Samsung Galaxy On8 and Xiaomi Redmi 4A – to see how it fares. Xiaomi Redmi 4 Specifications
Xiaomi Redmi 4 is like a mini version of the Redmi Note 4. This smartphone sports a metal unibody design similar to the Redmi Note 4 series, except this one has a 5-inch HD display compared to the former’s 5.5-inch full HD one.

These include App Lock (password and fingerprint locks for apps), Second Space (allowing multi-account profiles), and Dual Apps (allowing users to utilise two different WhatsApp accounts simultaneously). Special beta preview of Android Nougat-based MIUI will be available to users out-of-the-box. The infrared sensor on board allows the smartphone to be used as a universal remote control.
