NCC’s Role in Holistic Development

Addressing the NCC cadets, Shri Rajnath Singh underscored the NCC’s pivotal role in fostering holistic growth. He asserted that, alongside academic pursuits, it is essential for cadets to imbibe physical, mental, and emotional strength, social skills, and a deep sense of patriotism and national pride. The Minister highlighted the NCC’s commitment to nurturing individuals who can contribute wholeheartedly to the progress of the nation.

The Unique Human Element

While acknowledging the rise of artificial intelligence, Shri Rajnath Singh predicted a shift in career preferences towards sectors where machines are unable to replicate human qualities. Machines, he noted, might excel in physical and intellectual tasks, but they fall short in creativity, consciousness, and interpersonal skills, which are uniquely human attributes. The Minister credited the NCC for playing a crucial role in developing these qualities among the cadets.
