Ayodhya Ram Mandir Secrets:

Nripendra Mishra revealed that every year on the day of Ram Navami, arrangements have been made in the temple such that the sun’s rays fall on the idol of Shri Ram at 12 noon. Along with this, he also told that there will be two idols in the sanctum sanctorum, one movable and one immovable. One will be idols of Shri Ram’s childhood and the other of Ramlala. Every year, on the ninth day of Shukla Paksha of Chaitra month, the sun’s rays will fall on the forehead of Lord Shri Ram at 12 noon. Another specialty of the idol of Lord Ram is that if it is bathed with water and milk, it will not have any negative effect on the stone. Also, if someone consumes it with water or milk, it will not have any side effect on the body.

Sun rays will fall on Ramlala’s forehead on the day of Ram Navami

Revealing a special feature of the temple, Nripendra Mishra said that ‘A hole has been made in the temple so that the sun’s rays fall on the forehead of the Lord at 12 o’clock on the day of Ram Navami. The direction of the idol has been kept in such a way that the sun rays are not falling directly there. The Central Building Research Institute, Roorkee and an astronomical institute in Pune have jointly created a computerized system. There is a small device in it which will be installed in the peak of the temple. The rays will come through this medium and then get reflected and reach the forehead of Lord Ramlala.

He told that this device is being made in Bengaluru and its design and maintenance is being done by the institutes and scientists of Roorkee and Pune. He said that ‘on the day of Ram Navami, this will happen only for a few seconds, so we have to make efforts that a large number of people do not reach there on that day.’ He said that it would be a big challenge to ensure that stampede-like situations do not occur at that time and to overcome this challenge, efforts are also being made to show this incident on screen and television.
