Samsung on Friday launched the Galaxy C7 Pro in India, and it will available in the country from Tuesday, April 11, exclusively on Amazon India. Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro price is Rs. 27,990, and it will be available in Gold and Navy Blue colour variants.
To recall, the Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro was launched in China back in January. The India launch comes soon after another ‘Pro’ launch for the country in the Galaxy C-series – the Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro (Review) in January.
The Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro is a dual-SIM (Nano-SIM) smartphone, and runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. It sports a full-metal unibody, an Always-on display, a fingerprint scanner on the home button, and Samsung Pay support.
The smartphone bears a 5.7-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) Super AMOLED 2.D Curved Glass display, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4. Inside, the hardware is mostly mid-range. You get the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC clocked at 2.2 GHz that is also available on handsets like the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, the Moto G5 Plus and more. It is a capable processor built using the 14 nm manufacturing process that makes power efficient as well.
Samsung has also included 4 GB RAM and 64 GB of internal storage that can be expanded further using a microSD hybrid card slot up to 256 GB.
The Galaxy C7 Pro features a 16-megapixel sensor on both the front and back with f/1.9 aperture, though the rear camera gets PDAF and a dual-LED flash module in addition. The cameras are capable of recording full-HD videos at 30 frames per second. The handset is offered with 64GB of inbuilt storage, which is expandable via microSD card (up to 256GB) in a hybrid dual-SIM configuration.
Connectivity options on the Galaxy C7 Pro include 4G LTE, USB Type-C, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, and a 3.5mm audio jack. Sensors on board include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, digital compass, gyroscope, and proximity sensor. The Galaxy C7 Pro packs a 3300mAh battery with fast charging support (100 percent in 100 minutes). It measures 156.5×77.2x7mm and weighs 172 grams.
The company has added accelerometer, gyroscope, fingerprint, gyroscope, geomagnetic, proximity and RGB light sensors in the smartphone. It comes equipped with Fast charging and Samsung claims that the it can charge from 0 to 100 percent in 100 minutes.
