Indian smartphone maker Intex Technologies on Monday unveiled its Selfie centric smartphone Intex Aqua Selfie for selfie lovers, priced at Rs. 6,649. The Intex Aqua Selfie smartphone highlights a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with LED flash and will be available via offline channels from July 17 in Rose Gold and Black colour variants.

Intex makes budget smartphones mostly under its Aqua series. The new Intex Aqua selfie costs Rs 6649 while the Aqua S3 is priced at Rs 5,777. The 4G VoLTE Intex Aqua Selfie features a 5.5-inch HD-IPS display with a screen resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor, coupled with 2GB RAM and 16GB onboard storage that can be expanded up to 64GB. The smartphone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat and comes with support for 4G VoLTE. There are thick bezels at the top and bottom and thin ones on the side. There is a front camera at the top with a flash alongside it. There are three buttons at the bottom. The phone weighs 178grams.
Intex Aqua selfie-focused budget smartphone sports a 5-megapixel front camera with LED Flash and an 8-megapixel rear camera, which the company says is aimed for selfie lovers and “photography enthusiasts”. Both cameras are backed by a LED flash.
The Intex Aqua Selfie is backed by a 3000mAh battery, measures 155×78.8×9.2 and weighs around 178 grammes. The device comes pre-loaded with QR Code scanner that decodes the QR code automatically and shows the relevant information with buttons for the next steps to be taken. The Intex Aqua Selfie also comes with the music streaming feature and video streaming feature ‘Gaana’ along with Prime Video.
