Chinese smartphone company Huawei sub-brand Honor on Tuesday launched a new budget smartphone Honor Holly 4 in India, in its Holly series. Honor Holly 4 costs Rs 11,999 and it will be available in Honor partner stores across India. The device comes in three colour variants – Grey, Gold and Silver – with a twelve months service warranty. The Honor Holly 4 smartphone highlights are its elegant metallic design, fast fingerprint sensor, and a 13-megapixel camera, apart from running EMUI 5.1 based on Android 7.0 Nougat.

The company is touting the bundling of earphones with an in-line remote with the smartphone, apart from the charger and data cable. “Holly 4 is part of our festive offering to consumers wanting to buy a great device on a budget. Sporting a sleek, elegant metallic design with a fast fingerprint sensor we are confident that this smartphone will be a big winner,” said P Sanjeev, Vice President – Sales, Huawei Consumer Business Group India.

Honor Holly 4 supports dual-SIM runs the Android 7.0 Nougat based company’s EMUI 5.1 operating system. Huawei Honor Holly 4 features a metal unibody design with curved corners. It gets a 5.0-inch HD 720×1280 pixels display and powered by Octa-Core Snapdragon 430 SoC (four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.4GHz and four clocked at 1.1GHz) coupled with 3GB RAM and 32GB ROM, which is expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card. The Holly 4 packs a 3,020mAh battery.

Huawei Honor Holly 4 has a 13MP rear camera with features like PDAF, Timelapse, slow motion, Pro Video, and Pro picture. There’s a 5-megapixel front camera for shooting selfies. The rear-facing fingerprint sensor in Holly 4 can be configured to perform additional tasks like browsing through the pictures, disable an alarm, pick a call, take pictures, and more.

Honor Holly 4 connectivity options include supports 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.1 with A2DP, WiFi 802.11b/g/n, micro USB v2.0, OTG, and dual-SIM. Sensors on board include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, and proximity sensor. The company is touting the fingerprint sensor to doubles up as an additional, configurable key for shortcuts. It measures 143.7×70.95×8.2mm, weighs 144 grams, and runs on a 3020mAh battery.
