Alcatel has now expanded its portfolio with its entry-level budget smartphone called the Alcatel U5 HD in India. The new U5 HD has been priced at Rs. 5,999. The Alcatel U5 HD goes on sale exclusively on Flipkart starting at midnight tonight. The brand is offering the handset in metallic black and metallic gold colour options.
Alcatel U5 HD Features
The Alcatel U5 HD smartphone runs on Android Nougat and supports dual-SIM slots. It features a 5.5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) display. The device is powered by a quad-core 64-bit MediaTek MT6737 processor running at 1.25GHz. The processor has been mated to 2GB of RAM and a Mali-T720 GPU for graphics performance. Coming to the storage, the handset ships with 16GB of inbuilt storage, which can be further expanded up to 128GB using a microSD card.
The Alcatel U5 HD gets a 13-megapixel primary rear camera with autofocus and LED flash. The smartphone sports an 8-megapixel front camera with LED flash support as well. Camera features include HDR, EIS, Instant Collage, Face Mask, Face Show, Selfie Album, and Face Beauty.
Alcatel U5 HD packs a 2200mAh battery that is rated to offer 4 hours of talk time and 200 hours of standby time. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. The handset is just 8.9mm thick and weighs 129 grams.
