Meizu M5 smartphone has been launched in India by the Chinese smartphone manufacturer at a price of Rs 10,499. In India, only the 3GB RAM/32GB memory variant is made available. The Meizu M5 16GB variant price has not been revealed by the company. Meizu M5 will be exclusively available on Tatacliq.com and the smartphone comes with 32GB on board storage. Meizu M5 come in two colour options in India, which are blue and gold and sports a polycarbonate body.
Just To recall, Meizu M5 was first released in China last year. The Meizu M5 smartphone comes in two variants- 2GB with 16 GB of internal storage, which is priced at 699 Yuan (approximately Rs 6,891), and the 3GB of RAM with 32GB of internal storage which comes with a price tag of 899 Yuan (approximately Rs 8,863). In China, Meizu M5 comes in matte black, mint green, champagne gold and blue colour options.
Specifications
If we talk about Meizu M5 specifications, Meizu M5 has a 5.2-inch HD display (1280 x 720 pixels) with 2.5D glass on top, and pixel density of 282 PPI. This is a fully-laminated LCD IPS display. Meizu Company claims the M5 phone’s display has an integrated blue light filter to adjust blue light emission to reduce eye strain.
The phone is powered by a Mediatek MT6750 octa-core processor clocked at 1.5 GHz, Mali-T860 GPU coupled with 3GB of RAM. M5 has a fingerprint sensor along with fingerprint payment options.
The smartphone also houses an mTouch fingerprint scanner, which is embedded in its home button. For the uninitiated, the mTouch allows you to unlock the smartphone with your fingerprint in just 0.2 seconds. The M5 comes with an option to expand storage up to 128GB via MicroSD card. The device runs on Android Marshmallow with Flyme 5 on top of it.

If we talk about Meizu M5 Optics, smartphone comes with a powerful battery of 3070mAh providing a long standby time. TheM5 also offers an improved battery optimization with Flyme operating system, and also ensures that the battery lasts even longer. Moving ahead to the optics, M5 comes equipped with a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera which comes equipped with a large f/2.0 aperture. Meizu M5 helps users capture clear pictures under low light situations and also comes with a premium dual-tone flash which delivers an accurate white balance capability.
