After the ELYT e-1, Intex has decided to expand its Aqua series portfolio by launching new Budget Smartphone in India. Intex has added a new member to its Aqua series with the launch of Aqua A4 in India. The smartphone is priced at Rs 4,199 and comes in Black colour. The device’s big highlight is that it supports 4G VoLTE and runs on Android 7.0 Nougat. The Intex Aqua A4 is priced at Rs. 4,199, and will be available across major retail stores in the country.

The smartphone is only made available in Black colour option, and the Intex Aqua A4 houses the speaker grille at the back. There are capacitive navigation buttons at the bottom edge of the display, and the ribbed back casing looks to give a sturdier grip.
Processor
The Intex Aqua A4 runs on Android 7.0 Nougat and supports dual-SIM slots. The Intex Aqua A4 features a 4.0-inch WVGA display with a resolution of 480×854 pixels WVGA display that offers 245ppi pixel density. The smartphone is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core Spreadtrum SC9832 processor paired with 1GB of RAM and mali 400MP2 GPU. The Aqua A4 offers 8GB of inbuilt storage with the option to expand further via microSD card (up to 64GB). The smartphone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system and comes packed with 1750mAh Li-on battery which allows users to talk for long hours up to 6 hours with a standby time up of 250 hours.
Camera
As for optics, the Intex Aqua A4 sports a 5-megapixel rear camera with fixed focus and support for flash light. At the front, there is a 2-megapixel front camera for selfies and video chats as well.
The dimensions of the phone are 125 x 64 x 11.2 mm. Intex Aqua A4 weighs 147 g, and is available only in black colour. Connectivity options include Bluetooth, 4G VoLTE, WLAN, FM radio ,and Wi-Fi. The other features of the phone are QR code reader, split-screen view and a power-saving feature called “doze”. Intex Aqua A4 comes with pre-loaded apps like Gaana, Xender, News Point, etc.
Intex, which also owns the IPL team Gujarat Lions, launched the smartphone at an event attended by the players of the team.
