These workshops aim to offer top-notch services to customers residing in non-urban areas. The initial phase rollout includes six centers located strategically across Ateli, Charkhi Dadri, Bankura, Dahod, Nirmal, and Ooty.

Mr. Hisashi Takeuchi, MD & CEO of Maruti Suzuki India Limited, emphasized the importance of after-sales service in providing a delightful car buying experience. He stated, “Our goal is to extend the ‘Joy of Mobility’ to as many individuals as possible. After-sales service plays a pivotal role in ensuring customer satisfaction.” The company noted a significant interest in Nexa’s services from both urban and non-urban areas, with non-urban centers contributing to about 30% of Nexa sales.
Expansion Plans and Customer-Centric Approach
Maruti Suzuki aims to establish 100 compact-format Nexa Service Workshops by the end of the financial year 2024-25. Mr. Takeuchi highlighted the company’s commitment to expanding its service network to better serve customers. He added, “As we broaden our sales and product portfolio, it becomes imperative to be closer to our customers. We will continue to innovate and introduce customer-centric formats to elevate the car buying journey.”
Premium Services Tailored for Non-Urban Centers
The expansion of compact-format Nexa Service Workshops aligns with Nexa’s vision of offering premium services to customers in non-urban areas. Spanning an area of 75 square meters, these workshops boast dedicated front offices, customer lounges, service bays, and parking facilities for enhanced convenience. Customers can access general services like periodic maintenance and repairs at these workshops.
